This directory contains the archive of accepted Sqoop Improvement Proposals
(SIPs). An SIP describes a proposed modification to Sqoop in technical detail.
An accepted SIP is a design document that has been integrated into Sqoop.
This directory serves as a technical reference for Sqoop developers to
understand previous design decisions.

The SIP home is on the Sqoop development wiki at:
http://wiki.github.com/cloudera/sqoop/sqoopimprovementproposals

The wiki SIP home contains all SIPs including those which are in "proposal",
"implementation available," or "rejected" state.
