# Application Data Directory

The per-user application data directory is located in the following directory:

|
|

- `%APPDATA%\marktext` on Windows
|
|
- `$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/marktext` or `~/.config/marktext` on Linux
|
|
- `~/Library/Application Support/marktext` on macOS
|
|
|
